  2. Collector's Video, Subtitles, and Tales of Voodoo!

Two things brought about this most recent article. First, a e-mail from VSoM (more later if you don't know who they are). Second, a sighting at BB of a box set of the 5 Tales of Voodoo DVDs. DVDs that I've heard nothing but terrible things about. We're talking DVDs reported to have VHS glitches, and not just tracking issues, but moments where the video goes to blue screen! Especially with television series. How easy it is to take a show slap it's title on a re-envisioned adaptation, remold it for the big screen, flog it with hype and. . .

    But who decides which...
  5. Hollywood Remakes: If you can't beat them, join them.

    05/02/08 16:16:02 | 0 Comments

There is no stopping the assembly line productions of Hollywood remakes. So, instead of griping about it, I've decided to present five proposals for re-envisioning movies and/or television series that I feel would have a great chance in the current Hollywood system. Be warn I may have been slightly biased towards science-fiction. 5. CLASH OF THE TITANS (the series) This would make a great HBO series. They've done ROME examined THE TUDORS so why not turn to a...
