Trying so hard it's too often hilariously awful acting, laughable 90s era CGI, and dialogue that vacillates between absurd and over-the-top ludicrous
are just a few of the B-movie charms of this blatant low budget knock-off of ID4 (Independence Day). Of course it's not like you'd expect anything more
of a movie where the only recognizable faces are those of character actors...

When you make a break from your routine, especially due to any sort of medical concerns, you need to find something to do; if only to distract yourself. For me, oddly enough, the free time created by staying away from the computer meant more time to revisit movies I haven't seen in, well, years at least. Sometimes it's nice take a break and read reviews someone else has written. It's also rather amusing.
The first reviews of Severin's DVD(s) are starting to appear. BEAST IN SPACE has been unleashed onto the public and reviewers and critics are beginning to put words to what they've seen. (Which is making for interesting reading.) It's no great secret that Alfonso Brescia's space opera's aren't so much an acquired taste as something you just learn to get...
